Lauren Ferrara joined Nassau Audiology in March 2008 after a thirty year career including health care at South Nassau Hospital and later as a general contractor in Nassau County.  Lauren's attention to detail and her organizational skills have proved invaluable to the office.  Patients first introduction to Nassau Audiology is with Lauren who can provide important details about our services, insurance issues, and general hearing information . She is kind and understanding and has the patience to help the hearing impaired navigate the steps required to improve their hearing. What's better than waking up each morning and looking forward to a day at the office? Since 1971 Dr. Rosen has been privileged to provide Audiology services to adults and children in the Metropolitan NY region.

Initially employed as a staff clinician at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Infirmary for seven years, she later served as a consultant to a large Otology practice in Rockville Centre.

In 1986 Dr. Rosen prepared for private practice by researching and organizing in order to provide quality care for patients who found personal attention lacking in many clinics. Her goal since then has been to provide the best possible hearing care, based on individual needs. Dr. Rosen provides a comprehensive array of services related to evaluation, rehabilitation and prevention of hearing impairment. These services include hearing evaluations, specialized diagnostic testing, and industrial hearing screenings and most important, personal care and followup.

Dr. Rosen completed a Speech and Hearing B.S. degree in 1969 from Syracuse University and a Master's Degree in 1971 from New York University. In 2000 she completed a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida where she qualified for Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Dr. Rosen is Board Certified by the American Academy of Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, Long Island Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is also a founding member and former president of the HEARING CARE GROUP, an organization of more than thirty professional private practice audiologists in the metropolitan NY region. The Hearing Care Group offers continuing education in all matters of audiology, hearing care, and legislative issues.
